I only got half a bag of candy this year. Usually, I go out for the full two hours, but this year, I only went out for a half an hour. I was the Grim Reaper. My sisters friend had this really freaky skeleton mask and it scared away all of the little kiddos. We made her sit down in a chair, and when someone would grab some candy, she'd freak them out. We also stuffed newspaper up her sleeve and stuff so she'd look like a dummy. ;D But this year has changed a bit. It's like everyone has lost their Halloween spirit.

i didn't go out at all this year. i'm too old for it, which makes me sad. but instead, i went to my friend's party, and we hung out and watched "John Carpenter's Vampires". good movie. i suggest you all see it. other than that, my halloween was good.

I did get LOTS of candy. Not many trick-or-treaters out this year though. We did my whole neighborhood.
Ocasionally whe I rang the doorbell, someone would open it and say, "hello, Captain!" Then some teeny little kid would walk up and stare at me. Then his mom would say, "see jimmy? It's Captain Jack!" Then the kid would stare some more. When I said "hello" in my most Captain-Jackiest voice, he'd hide behind his mom, who would then dump tons of candy in my bag. That happened 4 or 5 times. It was great. ;D
